I promised a pizza blog.
Here it is.
And a blog. 🙂
A la casa di Sarah
Basically, my friends and I planned a pizza night at Sarah’s house. Her parents were kind to allow a bunch of us to take over their house and fire up the oven!
Sarah had picked up some pre-made doughs from La Trattoria (a local store in Kirkland selling cheese, breads, sandwiches, and apparently dough too!).
Check out their website: http://www.delilatrattoria.com/
Sadly, I had gotten scheduled a shift that day/night so I got there a bit later than everyone else and missed out on all the pizza-making from scratch.
However, Sarah had saved a dough for me and made my own pizza when I arrived at her place ❤
She had prepped all the toppings beforehand. Sarah had prepped everything and had only asked everyone else to each bring dessert.
What’s dessert without a Nutella pizza, right? (creds to Sarah’s mom for making it!)
My friend Tracy took the liberty to sit in front of a box of 50 Tim Hortons Timbits and go at it like there was no tomorrow.
Since I wasn’t around for the bulk of the night, most of the pictures included in this blog are actually from Chelsea (our squad photographer).
(So, creds to Chels for the great photos!)
Pizza photoshoot & their eaters
Beautiful, no? Oh and the humans too. I was thinking pizzas. How about you? 😛
Here’s one last pizza photo… UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL!
Again, thanks to the Scalia family for making Pizza night happen! 🙂
And a huge thanks to my squad for making this happen.
I hope this blog was visually tasteful.
Speaking of pizzas (or thinking of, or dreaming of, or drooling for, etc.), I was over at my aunt’s tiny burger joint the other day and she recommended me to try making a flat pizza using a tortilla shell and on the frying pan, as opposed to the oven. As soon as she mentioned it, I knew I had to try it. So once I do, I’ll post a blog about it! Fail or sucess. Either way, I’m pretty sure it’ll be a fun experience.
Thanks for reading on 🙂
