쌈 [ssam]

Just say Sam, but with a stronger emphasis on the S like you’re angry at someone.

There you go, you just learned how to say “쌈”.

If you’re wondering what that is, it’s basically what you see in the featured photo of this blog.

It’s a lettuce wrap with rice, meat, and other Korean side dishes that are available to you.

To be honest, you can put anything in that wrap.

There are no rules.

For those who read my “Baby Veggies” blog, it would probably interest you to know that the very lettuce in the photo was actually taken from our vegetable garden.

Fresh, fresh lettuce.

This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago when it was a nice summer-y day.

It was just another Monday – with just my mum & I.

And we decided to have a nice feast.

See below for picture proof! 😀
